Hey There! I’m Chiara Pravlik
Designer, storyteller, and visual problem-solver.
I’m an information designer with a love for making ideas feel clearer, more engaging, and more connected to the people they’re meant for. My work moves across branding, UI/UX, information design, web, and social content — always with a focus on thoughtful structure, strong visuals, and meaningful communication.
Whether I’m designing a visual system or creating content for a niche online audience, I’m interested in the same thing: how design can make information feel more useful, approachable, and memorable.
Multidisciplinary Design
Designing across brand, print, web, and digital touchpoints to create cohesive visual systems that feel thoughtful, polished, and purposeful.
Social Media
Designing content that connects strategy with visuals, including carousels, reels, captions, and branded posts that feel polished and platform-aware.
UI/ UX Design
Designing intuitive digital experiences with a focus on user flow, clarity, accessibility, and interfaces that make information easier to navigate.

Systems Mapping Project
Capstone Project
This capstone project explores how riders navigate transit disruptions in downtown Calgary. I designed a visually guided system that connects mobile alerts with physical signage to support clearer navigation, reduce cognitive load, and improve user confidence in time-sensitive situations.
Community Identity System
Wise Tech Corp Reimagined
Wise Tech Corp, a Managed IT Service Provider, aimed to modernize its brand identity and digital presence to enhance client connections and credibility in the tech industry.
Clothing Bar Boutique Rebrand
Clothing Bar Boutique is a contemporary retail space offering fashion-forward pieces with a warm, inviting presence. This rebrand modernized its visual identity to enhance recognition, create a cohesive brand system, and appeal to its audience with a fresh yet timeless look.
Type Specimen Booklet
Typography is the foundation of visual communication. This project involved creating a type specimen book to research, analyze, and showcase a typeface while applying hierarchy, grids, readability, and legibility.
Understanding the Astrolabe
In this individual project, I developed a professional-quality technical description and user guide for the astrolabe—an ancient astronomical device. The goal was to support users (like myself) who are new to historical instruments and empower them to explore astronomy through clear, thoughtful design. This project emphasized clarity, accessibility, and respectful communication that prioritizes user agency.
Rich Prospect Browser
The Remedy Rack is a rich prospect browser designed to help users discover and compare medicinal plants based on their healing properties, care needs, and potency. Inspired by seed packets and natural apothecaries, the interface lets users explore 96 native North American plants through an intuitive, playful, and informative experience. This project blends taxonomy, data visualization, and interface design to make discovery feel organic, structured, and purposeful.
