Design Process | Team Project

In this team project, we explored solutions to foster climate-conscious behaviour change among MRU students. Recognizing the urgency of environmental challenges and the unique social context following the COVID-19 pandemic, our design process focused on accessibility, inclusivity, and sustainability.

Wise Tech Corp Reimagined: From Logo to Digital Presence

Wise Tech Corp, a Managed IT Service Provider, needed a modernized brand identity and digital presence to better connect with clients and establish credibility in the tech industry. This project involved a logo rebrand, website redesign, and social media strategy, aligning their visuals and messaging with a more professional, trustworthy, and forward-thinking image.

Neue Kabel Type Specimen Booklet

Typography is more than just letterforms; it is the foundation of visual communication. This project challenged me to explore the design and functionality of a typeface by developing a multi-page type specimen book. The objective was to research, analyze, and visually narrate the story of a chosen typeface while demonstrating an understanding of type hierarchy, grid structure, readability, and legibility.

Clothing Bar Boutique Re-Brand

Clothing Bar Boutique is a stylish, contemporary retail space that curates fashion-forward pieces while maintaining a warm and inviting brand presence. The goal of this rebrand was to modernize the boutique’s visual identity, ensuring it reflected the brand’s aesthetic, values, and personality. The updated branding aimed to enhance recognizability, create a cohesive brand system, and appeal to its target audience with a fresh yet timeless look.

Information Design Brochure

In this project, I designed an information brochure for Mount Royal University’s Information Design program, aiming to connect with open studies students exploring their academic options. The project focused on applying principles of typography, layout, and audience-centered design.

Community Visual Identity

In this individual project, I developed a cohesive visual identity system for Victoria Park and applied it across print and digital formats, including a community newsletter, website mockup, and infographic poster—highlighting the neighbourhood’s history, culture, and revitalization.

Understanding the Astrolabe

In this individual project, I developed a professional-quality technical description and user guide for the astrolabe—an ancient astronomical device. The goal was to support users (like myself) who are new to historical instruments and empower them to explore astronomy through clear, thoughtful design. This project emphasized clarity, accessibility, and respectful communication that prioritizes user agency.

Rich Prospect Browser

The Remedy Rack is a rich prospect browser designed to help users discover and compare medicinal plants based on their healing properties, care needs, and potency. Inspired by seed packets and natural apothecaries, the interface lets users explore 50 native North American plants through an intuitive, playful, and informative experience. This project blends taxonomy, data visualization, and interface design to make discovery feel organic, structured, and purposeful.
