Clothing Bar Boutique Rebrand
Clothing Bar Boutique is a stylish, contemporary retail space that curates fashion-forward pieces while maintaining a warm and inviting brand presence. The goal of this rebrand was to modernize the boutique’s visual identity, ensuring it reflected the brand’s aesthetic, values, and personality. The updated branding aimed to enhance recognizability, create a cohesive brand system, and appeal to its target audience with a fresh yet timeless look.
This project was done in collaboration with Hannah Vidallo
The Process:
1. Research & Brand Analysis
I conducted an in-depth analysis of Clothing Bar Boutique’s existing branding, identifying strengths and areas for improvement. Research included:
-
Evaluating the current visual identity and customer perception.
-
Analyzing competitor brands for industry insights.
-
Understanding the boutique’s unique selling points and target demographic.
2. Concept Development & Ideation
Drawing from the research insights, I developed a branding concept that emphasized sophistication, creativity, and approachability. The concept explored:
-
A modern typographic treatment with a balance of structure and fluidity.
-
A color palette reflecting earthy, muted tones to convey warmth and reliability.
-
Playful yet refined elements to make the brand feel dynamic
3. Logo & Identity System
The rebrand introduced three key logo variations:
-
Primary Logo: The full brand name with a structured yet organic flow, incorporating a visual ‘bar’ element to reinforce the boutique’s name.
-
Secondary Logo: A variation emphasizing different typographic arrangements for flexibility.
-
Submark: A compact version designed for smaller applications such as social media icons, packaging, and signage.
4. Typography & Color Palette
The typography blends bold, geometric letterforms with soft, rounded details, creating a strong yet inviting presence. The color palette consists of:
-
Deep Green: Symbolizing stability, growth, and sophistication.
-
Muted Pink: A complementary tone adding warmth and femininity.
-
Neutral Beige: Providing balance and versatility across applications.
5. Brand Application & Deliverables
To ensure brand consistency, I created a comprehensive brand system adaptable for various touchpoints, including:
-
Website and social media assets
-
Storefront signage and packaging
-
Business cards and marketing collateral
